Formed in December 1994 by Sandra D. Hanson, Thomas E. Hornat, and Peter B. Loening, Eagle Capital provides commercial mortgage brokerage and real estate investment advisory services. In addition, Eagle Capital also invests in commercial properties for its own account

The principals of Eagle Capital have over 75 years of experience in various aspects of commercial real estate investment and management. Prior to forming Eagle Capital they were senior managers in the Real Estate Division of Barclays Business Credit, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Barclays Bank PLC, where they were responsible for the origination, underwriting, approval and servicing of hundreds of millions of dollars of commercial real estate loans on all types of commercial real estate properties; management and disposition of a nationwide 50-property REO portfolio; and strategic planning and lease management of a national system of field offices.

Since forming Eagle, the principals have placed approximately $100 million in mortgage financing, completed the acquisition, renovation and turnaround of four distressed and/or bank-owned properties in Connecticut, provided tenant lease representation and acquisition due diligence services for institutional clients, and completed a variety of consulting assignments.
